some of you may remember i posted a few weeks back about my loss of confidence after coming back to 2 wheels..
well, its slowly returning, tonight i went to the local ind. estate and spent an hour going around the roundabouts - i've now actually leaned my bike over and have started to move my arse around on the seat!!! im still very slow, but im getting there so i dont care Very Happy
ive found now that when travelling along i cant seem to figure out how to displace my weight on the bike, i keep fidgeting and moving my weight from my feet to my arse to my hands...
can anyone advise please? cheers all, nick Smile

Generally speaking, you don't want to be taking any weight on your hands, they are for steering.

I tend to put more weight on the pegs if the road is rough and when I am cornering (to let me adjust the balance of the bike by loading up the pegs one way or the other). Otherwise I sit on the saddle.

Under braking, you should be taking the weight by gripping the tank with your knees.

Sounds like you might need to adjust the position of the handlebars a bit to suit your most comfortable riding position.
