I've pretty much decided now that this is the bike I want provided when I take a look next week its as nice as everyone says it is (I'm sure it will be)

The problem:

I don't really like naked bikes and have noticed the '06 model is faired, where can you buy the fairings for the older model of this bike?

Well, now I think the Cagiva Planet/Raptor is inching into the lead and am not so sure about the Comet. Luckily I can take a look at both at the same time next week

hi there = only the comet 650 comes with the faired option, the 125/250 doesn't.

see the next issue of BIKE for a review of the faired and unfaired bikes.

Comets are quality machines but way overpriced in my opinion.

A Cagiva Planet is way better specced, cheaper and probably more fun.
Can you live with a 2 stroke though?
Warming them up, possibility of top end rebuilds, cost of 2t oil, etc...

If you can live with a woman you can live with anything Mr. Green

I'm really torn between the 2 but I'm going to nip down to Warrington Motorcycles at the weekend as they do them both and see which is best.

Silva.

Boogar!

I'm still after one but I haven't been to see one yet, I'm due to got on Sat and then there's the problem of payday (and all the money) not coming 'til June 15th.

I'll PM you on payday to see if you've still got it

Black - Bikes shouldn't come in any other colour imo

Just out of interest is it a black one at Warrington motorcycles? There was a lad down the road from my GF's house that had one, then it went away, then saw a bike that I'm pretty sure is exactly the same in the garage at Warrington MCycles.

If so, check for rust as it's been kept outside for about a year!

Hi,

I was talking about the one he was going to see at Warrington Motorcycles.

I've had World Chat Champion for a while now, it's a default one on the boards.

Don't know toby, I just know they sell 'em and there are some in stock so I'm going down to see just how big they are, what the riding position is like and all that. To be honest I probably wouldn't buy from there as there are better deals to be had elsewhere

So....

I went all the way down there to WMC this morning....

And they didn't have either in stock. Complete waste of the morning and I'm none the wiser.

Sad

Nevermind, Its not gonna be a long term thing so I'll spin for it I think
