If you own a motorbike it tends to be your pride and joy, right? And if you love is so much you'd want to talk about it, right?

Also, the pictures used on ebay and autotrader piss me off.

I know what a *insert bike model here* looks like from the side/front/rear.

Take pictures of around the rear shock, swingarm and other places where muck and corrosion builds up.

For some, it might invite them to come and view the bike - how much information is necessary for an advert? Mileage, MOT/Tax, condition (can never be determined until you see the bike in the flesh), where it is, how much is it.....the rest can be deduced, and should be deduced (as you can tell so much more in conversation) when viewing the bike.

Or maybe, in a few cases, the picture(s) of the bike does most of the talking.

I agree. I look straight past those kind of ads. I presume it's a bit of a tatty bike sitting out the back of a dealership somewhere waiting to be got rid of.
It is an advert at the end of the day and should work like any other.

"clean LOOKING bike" Confused No thanks.
