Just doing my lessons... my car lessons!

Heya,

Ive only got a provisional motorbike licence, but Ive decided to get my car licence out the way, so I can use the work vans and my dads van if I want to move big stuff.

I really recommend doing a car licence if you havnt got one and are pretty new to biking like me ( got about a year or so under my belt ).

You get to find out what blind spots there are, and how its hard to see when pulling out of junctions with parked cars or heavy traffic, ect. As before driving the car I would normally just ride pass cars which are trying to pull out of junctions even though I cant see the driver, which probably isnt really a good idea, now I use extreme caution!

Yeahh, unlike a bike license, a car license is required for lots of jobs.

If I had to choose between the 2 and I do ride daily, i'd have to go for the car, at least in a car I can drive 365 even in wintery conditions and I can take my kids with me, shopping etc. Plus in this weather, the car has air con and not like me in my sweaty leathers.

I agrre Gearbox, its good to experience the otherside, we're not as easy to keep tabs on as you may think when we're moving about behind them.

god for you i did my car test 1st as well its sooo easy in comparison to bike test you can walk through it
But be careful not to develop bad habits i did
