I like the contrast between matt and gloss black. Red is always a nice combo with black. Maybe it just needs the flashing LED's round the lights and its 'Hello Michael' Laughing

Yes, but I prefer it on the 'Senna' bikes (Ducatis, MVs that it originally appeared on).

That is a cool looking bike I must admit.

I like the fact that the colour scheme is mostly created from the finish of the materials on the engine and frame and they work together really well for the overall look.

bloody hell that sounds like an interior designer! Embarassed

Buells are REALLY starting to appeal to me. My only gripe and I know it's a silly one is why oh why have they only got one disk on the front.

Now I know one is all it needs as a 6 pot caliper on a rim mounted disk provides enough stopping power with the extra leverage the layout provides to have hauled up the Titanic saving her from the iceberg, but IT LOOKS SO BUDGET Thumbs Down

In both the UK and US markets single disk on a big bike has always been associated with low cost - CB500, ER-5, GPZ500s the list could go on. It leaves a bike looking somewhat lacking at the front end and in the pub posing world of biking it's something that may cause die hard sports bike riders to turn their nose up at buying a Buell come cash parting time. Personally I feel two 4 pots on two rim disks would have looked better and still have been overkill to keep buells PR team happy.

Personally, I think you could paint the buell bright pink, it'd still look good. The balck and red don't do much for me than any other xb12r does.

There was a solitary Buell In Tilstons last week which really stood out in the rows of 'samey' Jap bikes.
Same style paint as that but more orangey gold than red bits.
