Just got back from a belting day out with 'Black Knight' aka RICK 
Had my bike set up on the dyno and i was 
It is now putting out 170.3 bhp @the rear wheel
Also 104lbs / ft of torque
Fookin chuffed to bits, absolutely stunned.
Many thanks to 'John Warrington' for all his hard work and expert tweaking..

170bhp eh? Nice.
Mind you, has to be high to warrant buying such a fugly bike.
Thought you'd have gone for an Akrapovic System though if you wanted maximum bhp. |

The graph says it all..
It really didn't need a system, the bike in standard trim was 154bhp, the cans and a K&N have boosted this figure massively.
As for not buying on e-bay, lol, i buy stuff 2nd hand off there.
I would have bought a descent 2nd hand set of cans had i found any.
I'm not a snob or owt  , i'm just a hard working regular guy with a bike i'm trying to tweak.
(I'll let you into a secret, i saved £1500 on the new price because i bought an import, now i'm spending that saving on making it how 'I' want it.. I have £800 left for my NOS kit and suspension adjustments). |

It's infuriating that Johnny's bike puts out the same BHP as my Bandit at only 4,500 RPM.

When is it? I don't know anything about it....
I'd be quite pissed off going there i imagine, as i'd have got the bike set to just how i want it only to be whooped by someone on another machine straight away.
Gimme some details and we'll take it from there.

First weekend in September. All the details are on 200mph (and answers to questions I will not know). Camping is organised for a nearby cam site.
Woodbridge is near Ipswich.
And yes there will be some quick bikes there.

My 1040cc EXUP was making 165bhp.

carillo rods, je pistons, nitrous oxide and a turbo 350 bhp sounds nice. How much are kidneys making on ebay?
EDIT: actually i think you can run stock rods up to 350bhp or so (dont quote me on that)

Theres no reason you couldnt have 2 cans running from a turbo. Just get someone to make you a system that split after the turbo's outlet. Also there are plenty of people running turbos every day with no real reliability issues. It depends what kind of setup you are using, so long as its set up right so you arent getting knocking, running lean, or overrevving then you shouldnt have any real trouble. An off the shelf turbo system will be quite pricey, but it will give you huge power potential and dump valves make girls in bus queues go weak at the knees.

Having said that, you don't seem like the type of chappy that'd buy a second hand system off ebay so right enough just buying the end cans...the akra' system would be well over £1k.
