no, ok so you have to fill up the 2 stroke and should warm it up before you really ride it but they are far more fun as a 125, they dont go as long as a 4 stroke before a rebuild is needed.
But if you think that those simple things are a bit of a pain maybe biking isnt for you, a lot of annoying and stuff goes into it. kit getting into it were to keep it at work chain lubing, avoiding nutters on the road. the list goes on
anyway i am the original JEBUS you stole my name

I in no way meant to steal your name....
Biking is right for me! I love it! I love the thought of working on a bike. Its just my mum said she had a 2 stroke and that it was loads of hassle...but that was about 20 years ago..I was just wondering... ____________________ Test Passed 14/02/08

Just look after it, service it and occasionally shove your willy up the exhaust. That'll keep it running sweetly.

Their great fun, and rewarding to thrash they'll teach you all about pistons, oil and maintenance in general downside is that any clothes you wear whilst riding it will stink of 2 stroke oil forever. ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

There were two guys at Mallory the other day, one on an rd and the other on an MZ.
By mid-afternoon one had broken the crank and the other mashed the gearbox.
An untuned non-race rep type of two smoke bike is normally really reliable, unless you are a total animal. ____________________ Part-time GSXR1000 pilot>Micron Serpert system+K&N, PC111, Sigma slipper clutch, Brembo m/c+Galfer discs, Gilles rearsets, Translogic Quickshifter.
