flashing lights

if it wernt for people flashing there lights at me twice going down the road i would have been caught speeding and by speeding i mean over the 30mph limit on that road i was doing 35mph. still.

point is its great the way people do the flashy thing to alert you. caus ethe cops where hiding round the cornor with their hair dryers.

to drivers cause i never seen a bike do that at me yet.

It does happen over here. Its usually the drivers who get slagged off the most (van drivers and chavs) that are the first to warn you.

When I was in NI for the Northwest on the way back to the ferry a cager coming in the other direction was flashing his lights. Sure enough round the next bend was plod with a hairdyer looking seriously p**sed off as we went passed him at 30.

In this country too I was flashed (ooh er missus) by car drivers and again there was one of our boys in blue.

Up here (Ecosse) we all warn each other, cars and vans will flash, bikers by hand signals or tapping the top of the helmet. If you are warning someone else I find it best to use arm signals as it is actually an offence to flash people to warn them

Its also an Offence in England to war other motorists but...

For Police speed traps and Police ahead in general, Cars and vans flash lights but trucks but mostly fellow bikers always give the thumb down (as in slow down).
