my first RS125 trip

Hello all! I want to take my bike out on a proper trip (80-90 miles) stay overnight and leave again the next day but I'm terrified about it not starting! what would you recommend?

A random bike building person actually sorted out the idling on my bike and charged my battery (with an industrial charger) today, but I'm still worried it won't want to start from cold (which it hasn't been, and with no reasonable explanation).

In fact the guy who sorted it out today changed the air/fuel mixture and idling speed; is that more likely to make it start?

He also said that it needs new engine oil (as opposed to two-stroke) but I don't know where that goes, and I STILL don't know which fuel tank thing is on / reserve / off (with off being the tap pointed backwards).

Some sort of kit I should take with me or do you think the air/speed thing will sort her out?
