WANTED! 400cc Winter project to turn into track bike

My other half's dad has offered to buy us a track bike for next year! How cool is that?!?!

It sounds like he wants a winter project and my other half will most likely get on with something like a ZXR400.

Budget is £1,000 for the whole project, so a really cheap road bike, crash damaged bike or a 30p box of bits would be ideal.

So if you have anything that fits the above criteria then don't hesitate to let me know.
