Hi there i have a bit of a problem, i made a website a year ago for someone, and when i finished it i sent them over a link with all the web host details etc as i had to set it all up. I have since lost the email address and my uncle does not appear to have to email i sent him. Is there anyway we can find out the web host from the website? Because ican't remember the host at all?!

Cheers

Try a WHOIS lookup.

Try this site, and go type the www address into WHOIS box.

great minds think alike. I stumbled upon this whois site earlier and tried it out. Managed to decipher who the host was and guessed my password from a list of ones i've used. Thumbs Up We are back in action.

Cheers for the help
