Bandit 6 indicator help :(

Anyone whose had some experience with good old bandit indicators, could you help meee!

The front and rearleft hand side indicators have stopped working. I checked the fuse and my o/h checked the flasher unit thingy. It's still indicates it's indicating on the control panel bit under the speedo but no flashing! They are after market but they are not LED. All wires directly to the the indicators seem to be intact.

Any advice?

Yeah they just conked out, i'd done about 1000 miles on them?

Get a 12v bulb (or a multimeter if you have one), attach wires to it and place the ends of the wires on the contacts in the indicators before the LEDs. If you indicate and it lights up it's the indicators, if it doesn't light it's probably wiring.

If the indicators have blown get a multimeter and measure the current/voltage flowing through the wires and make sure it's not too high.

There's a Bandit 1200 wiring diagram here. If it's the same diagram for the 600 and the indicators don't work with the bulb my first guess would be to inspect the solid black wire which runs straight between the front and rear left indicators.

I've just had a closer look at that wiring diagram, and if it does turn out that the bulb doesn't work when you put it on the LED contacts (meaning there's nothing wrong with the indicators) it could possibly be one of these things:

1. The connection between the wire from the indicator switch and the line between both indicators is broken

2. There's something wrong with the left position on the indicator switch. Perhaps a faulty join, or the left portion of the switch could just be broken.
