Anyone own a KBC VR2? Got a great deal on one off ebay and wondering what's thought about it.

I think mine is the VR2. It's a comfortable fit compared to most helmets.

I've had quite alot of problems with the visor mechanism which is a bit fiddly and fragile.

Wind noise isn't a problem.

My Xlite 902 was better for bad weather because the visor seal was much, much better and you can ride with it partly open easier. But they're also alot more expensive.

If I needed another helmet right now, I would buy another VR2 but only from somewhere that I can take it to and have them fix it/order parts.

I don't see why alot of people spend hundreds on a helmet when there's helmets like these much cheaper that do the job just as well in summer.

Rick.

Yeah it is. When I bought it I thought it was going to be horrendously loud, but it's actually very quiet! Well worth the money in my opinion. Vents aren't fantastic though, but I don't care Very Happy
