Newb to o2 service!

Complete newb to mobs in general, avoided them for years, can't stand the things tbh.

Recently got hold of a k700i, got an o2 sim card and stuck £15 quid on it, this apparently gives me 100 free mins a month to use aswell as 1mb of data transfer to use.

Got a text last night saying:

You now have your talk anytime 100 uk mins and 1mb of data to use this month. Remember to top up £10 or more before 01/09/06 to get next months free allowance.

So why when I just called my bank, why did it charge me? can anyone explain what the hell these companies mean when they say talkanytime? I looked on their site and its all jargon to me.

Those 100 minutes can be used at any time of the day. Minutes that arn't anytime can only be used at off peak times such as after 7 at night or on weekends.

Now I've told you this, you must wear an eye patch and say YARRR

You can also get stung if it's a non geographic number ie mobiles 0800, 0845 etc.
