if it's your first big bike, I wouldn't worry about putting a K&N on it, for a start, IMHO they are a waste of money but it will be plenty "fast" without adding one. . .get a can instead if you must Smile

Get a race exhaust and a power commander and then maybe a k&n might do something. Laughing Thumbs Up

yip 1st bike bike though it is a 750 i do feel really confident about riding it did not fancy a cbf500 or er500 or a bandit, searching for insurance quotes at the moment have had £250-£480 I have a years no claims but that was on a 125 would that still count towards a bigger bike since I have just passed me test too also being 36 is gonna be good too

yes they do make a bit of a difference but it will be more noticeable in partnership with a power commander.

I fitted one to my Z1000 aswell as doing a minor airbox mod and it has improved the initial throttle response.

There is a recomended Z1000 airbox mod for american owners but it seems to drastic for British climate so i just cut off the neck of the airbox feed rather than removing far more like the americans do

You've bought a bike before passing your test?????

Tempting fate mate.

Ex boss did that, kept failing it as did next door neighbour with his car test.

I don't have a Z750, but it is a well known fact that lots of bikes backfire, if you alter the exhaust system only, leaving the fueling system unchanged.

Stock everything, i just put some higher octane in to see if it does anything, as it burns quicker.
Its whenever i let the throttle off, must be chucking in unburnt fuel in when the valves are open, also the exhaust gets veeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy hot Cool
