hi there, recently bought a 02 plate nsr 125,it was restricted so i removed the plate out of the intake and fitted a full giannelli exhaust system.the bike is faster now but i dont think its fast enough as it gets to 80/85 easy enough but after that it is a slight drag !! i have managed 90 mph out of it,what else is there to increase performance??
iam going to fit a new plug and k&n style airfilter will these help??
thanx Laughing

probably because it's a french import ! look your serial number ( between the yokes) and i will not be surprised if it looks like ZDCJC22B0R1Fxxxxxx
the B shows french import (E shows swiss & germany) , R1 shows 2001 year of production
if you want to know about de-restricting french (or swiss & german) , download my file https://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/NSRtips.doc

yes it's a 2001 UK specs . you need now :
- carbon reeds £32ish (i can order from my french site if you wire 52 euros through paypal, send me a pm with name & adress)
- BR9EIX sparkplug (https://www.sparkplugs.co.uk) £7.5ish
- upjet carb (this the most important) as : main jet 138 , slow jet 42 , power jet 65 . actually you are on 132,38,55 which is dangerous for your engine over 9800-10000 rpm
when having changed them set then needle at the 2nd notch from the top
those are avaiable at https://www.dellorto.co.uk cost £3ish each mail to mattew cooper sales@dellorto.co.uk

yes carbon petals are the best , but the boysen are a bit hard for the NSR they are more suitable for dirty bikes . the best are the italian AKTIVE (very expensives) but the model i got on my french site are good and for £32 (all included) quit a good price . if you want to see the aktive https://www.redracingparts.com look reeds
my french site models :
