Hi

In the next couple of weeks I want to get my chain and sproket replaced.
Is £110 supplied and fitted a good price for an O ring?

Its £140 supplied and fitted for X ring

Its for a Suzuki GSF600

I know it sounds stupid but whats the difference between The X and O ring chain?
is it worth paying the extra?
Cheers

£30 Wink
Depends on how long you're keeping it.
I'd probably get the o ring for a 600.
The price seems reasonable, DIY fitting is not that hard.

Correct me if I am wrong, but dont you need an impact wrench to remove the front sprocket? I suppose it could be done with some one sitting on the pillion seat etc, but it wouldn't be easy. I'm getting mine changed this weekend. My mechanic is going to get me one for wholesale price (£95 approx). He charges £25 per hour for labour.

To the public a decent O ring and sprocket kit is around £70 and £30-40 is the normal rate for fitting so it seems fair enough.

That would be £40 better off in your pocket though if you diy what is a pretty easy job.

Could you please tell me where to get £70 chain and sprocket sets? The cheapest I could find is 90 quid +vat and shipping. Would the life span of cheap sets be suspect? Thanks.

Chain is D.I.D so quality is very good.
