Ok its been one thing after another with this bike, anyway recent problem is as follows.

Sometimes when I try to start it, I get a click and all electrics go out and the thing is dead. If it does start then great it runs without a problem rain or shine. First time it happened was at a petrol station so I pushed it to the side to clear the pump, I looked down and it had came back to life and started without a problem. So I have realised that if I push it back and forth(In neutral!?!) it comes back to life and again may or may not start.

Any ideas as to where to start looking?

Thanks

Normally I'd have a good go at telling you never to trust the fitness of the battery, but I think you are saying that when it's in it's "working" state it is absolutely fine (i.e. it does not become sluggish at any point). So we'll skip that.

so If all (i.e. starter motor PLUS all lights etc) your electrics have go off COMPLETELY, then I'd say first to check would be the battery terminals.

Hopefully, nice and simple.

Hopefully it will be as simple as just the battery terminals will check it out, makes sense though.

Thanks.

Edit - Checked it out positive terminal loose Embarassed quick tighten and its completely fine.

Thanks again!

I would certainly check battery terminals... also check the connection on the starter relay is good, it is also the main bike fuse so if connection is starting to go green, it can effect all the electrics.
