I need to mount my indicators directly to my fork legs, there must be some simple bracket to do this, however I can't find anything on ebay and the usual motrax type place doesn't have what I want either...

Does anyone know of a stock naked bike that has indicator brackets? most naked bikes the indicators seem to bolt to the headlight bracket or have massive bracket things, I just want a small subtle bracket to put my indicators on the forks, if not I'm just gonna cable tie them on Laughing

I'm sure streetfighter stores sell these. There's a store on egay but I can't remember the name.

something to do with wires and suspension travel mate,,, every chance they will look shite and possibly break,
Other than that you can buy the light brackets that fit onto your fork legs but I'm not sure if you could stop them swiveling

huh? shouldn't make any difference, the headlight is fixed to the forks as well and that doesn't have any problem? the wires would move with the indicators so it won't be a problem..

there are some fork leg indicator brackets on ebay but they are £20, fuck that I'd rather cable tie them on Laughing theres surely got to be a cheaper option or to find a stock bike with the right type of brackets then I can get the bits off ebay cheap..

Nope they are to go on the forks about same height as they were when on the fairing.

Why can't you mount them on the headlamp brackets like everyone else?

Other than that, I reckon the way forward would be to fit a second set of headlamp brackets. You'd need clamp-on ones rather than slide on ones to stop them rotating in the wind blast.

Like this kind of thing.

What sort of thing did you have in mind then? I can't think of a more minimal way to attach something to your fork leg. I suppose you could use one of this type of hose clamp?

Or I have used a strip of alloy plate with two holes in to sling the flashers below the headlamp fitting before now.

yep that's the sort of thing I had in mind, like the hose clamp with a small bit of metal with a hole in it for the indicator to mount on... simple and easy, it's not meant to look good it just meant to work. I might pop up B&Q Laughing or just cable tie it, hmm Thinking
