I have been riding for a year now do you think a 3 day intensive course will be enough?

Thanks

I doubt anyone could answer that exept the person teaching you to be honest. Have an evaluation day or
book 1 lesson with someone and ask them what they think i recon that would be your best bet really...

God darn my spelling today Rolling Eyes

I agree with jay you are the best person to answer your own Question and the training school instructor too but I think some experience on the roads with a bike is a must

balls to paying for an assement just book a test on your own and see if you fail on anything. You never know your luck.

I'd say three days should be enough for almost anyone who'd been riding for a while. Complete beginers do it in 4/5 days as long as you can lose any bad habits you may have.

I reckon it should be long enough. I am doing 2 days lessons, then my test early on the 3rd morning.

Just ask for a little assessment ride. When I went to see my instructor to book for das, he was just taking some das'ers out and he said why dont you come for part of the ride, and I can see if your ok.....so I did.... and he said 2 days lessons would be fine.

My local DAS school gives a free assessment on what course you need. My suggestion would be to ask at a few of your local places (and let each one know that you're phoning around), and suggest that some schools already offer these free assesments. You never know your luck Thumbs Up Wink

Just to add my intentions...

I have done zero riding other than my CBT 2 weeks ago. I have my theory on saturday. If I pass that , it's straight to the shop for leathers, helmet, gloves etc, and 4? lessons on a 500. Then my test. I have no intention of riding a 125. I will probably get a 600 as my learner machine if I get my licence. Then again I am 39 and reckon I have lost most of the crazy headed rashness of youth, so will be very gentle with my right hand (for a change)...

I think you'll be fine Smile
