Mileage

Right, I went to Gosport again today. Around 20 miles round trip.
My mileage read (eg 179006) When I got back it read roughly (sorry cant quite remember 179186
WTF? I really dont get it. thats like 180 miles, even if its in KM thats still too much.
How can I get this sorted as its clocking up more then the normal miles.
Also, are all bikes in KM? If not, how can I find out if mine is?

err, is that last (right hand) digit a different colour? it'll be 1/10th of a mile. So you did 18.0 miles.

You didn't think your scooter had gone 179,000 miles did you

the last digit is a 10th of a mile 17900.6 miles to 17918.6 ie 18 miles
