Synthetic and not synthetic type oils dont mix well (if at all)

I found the Halfords synthetic to be fine with the CBR, and significantly cheaper than the posh stuff.

Castrol R4 does me fine, think it's about £30 a bottle normally (although I've got a big drum full of the stuff).

Also having said that it doesn't stay in the R6 very long as it gets changed every other track day it does.

Hein Gericke do various grades of Motoul oil. About £25 for 5l of the normal stuff. You get a free oil and air filter when you buy the oil off them. Thumbs Up
