more power out my my gf's 60mph 10bhp gn125????

is there anything i could do besides rideing it of a cliff to make it more responsive and a little faster

it revs like a lawnmower realy slow and the revs still ridfe even after u let of the throttle for a second and drop very slow

and it only does 60mph flat out

i was thinking of buying a second hand gn exhaust from ebay and removeing the baffle and made drilling the air box and get a bigger carb? (what carb will fit by the way ? lol)

any 1 got any tips

Well, I would get it running properly before you start trying to tune it (which frankly is like trying to polish a turd).

Get whatever issue is causing it to rev like a dog fixed first off.

I recommend getting a haynes manual and doing everything listed in the first chapter (periodic servicing and tune-up).

hm didnt know you could get them for the gn 125.

what could be cousing the reving issue? becouse it seems relay slow and lazy at rev and dropping off,

pluss the acceleration is awfull compared to other 4 poke 125's

Probably just needs a good thorough tune-up and service. By tune up, I mean setting all the engine parts how they are supposed to be.

Could also be a variety of other things. An inlet manifold air leak springs to mind, you can test for this by getting the engine ticking over and spraying some WD40 over the inlet rubbers. If the bike revs itself up when you do this, there is an air leak.

Blocked air filter, or a very rich mixture. What colours the plug when you take it out?

Might need the valve gaps checking.

I think you would be lucky to get any more out of it to be honest. Isnt the GN a 4t? Thought they were and seen someone has said about valves..

how does the throttle feel when you let it off. Does it snap back nice and smooth or does it feel sticky? Could be a sticky throttle cable causing the revs to take a second to drop..
