Thought I'd treat myself... I figured I was worth it. Laughing

I realise it's only standard, but what the heck. And everyone else seems to be showing pics, so...

I love it.

I'm REALLY glad I chose the Bombay Orange too. It looks a lot better in the flesh than on the pics. And them Anodised "upside-Downies". Oooooo! they do it for me.

All the Best.

That is a f*cking sexy colour Thumbs Up Since when have hornets had USD forks!? They improve the look so much. RWU forks just remove any attitude a bike has.

Nice machine!

Hornets have only been equiped with USD forks from this years model I believe. They do look good though. Wink

Thanks for the comments guys.

When it gets a bit older it'll be time for some after market goodies.

No!!

Now!!

Colour matched bellypan completely finishes the bike off. Honest.

Be interested if you could tell me how far you get on a tank of fuel etc. mpg wise.

To be perfectly honest I couldn't really say with any true accuracy. Embarassed

The clock is LCD and I've never bothered to look into how to reset the trip counter because it has a fuel gauge.

I ride 250 miles each week, back and forth to work. The roads I cover are both urban and rural, with some dual carriageway. On the "Dual" I almost always touch a ton at some point everytime I ride, and on the B-roads I ride as fast as the conditions allow, then keep it sensible in town. So riding style is a bit varied.

I find I have to fill up twice a week to cover the distance, the tank holds 16ltrs. About 120 miles to the tank sounds about right which roughly works out to approx 25-30 mpg.

Hornets aren't really the most economical of bikes, but then it's not too bad for a 600 I suppose.

That's one badass amazing colour IMO. The colour in your pic actually looks better than the official Honda pics I've seen...
I'd have thought it was a custom colour if I didn't know otherwise.
Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

That Hornet looks fantastic Thumbs Up Karma

Copper Orange is by far the best colour for a Hornet. Love the USD's, exhaust, panels and "fairing" on the newer ones Thumbs Up

Depending on how I ride I get between 40-50MPG. Had 52 before. Normally costs £10 for 100 miles (about 46mpg-ish), which incidentally is when my reserve needs to be switched on.

Did it come with that fender extender from brand new?

Bombay Orange if you please Sir! Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green
It is indeed the fastest colour.

And, No, the Fenda Extenda is a Pyramid one.
Didn't use the screws in the bag though. What you need is Silicone Sealant, they stick on "Sweet As" with a bit of that, it's rock solid.

You need the proper Silicone though, you know, the stuff that smells of Vinegar, not the bathroom sealer. Wink
