Some of you may remember the mishap I had back in December in
which I posted pics of my wadded up GSX750F Katana.
Well, it had been 8 months and 1 day... till my wife surprised me
with a brand new 2006 Interceptor ABS! She had some folks from
my bike club, my brother and my parents (who are on the other side of the country)
all in cahoots to sneak a new bike in on me. She
called me outside to help her with some stuff and there is my
bro in the driveway smirking like a randy queer while revving the
throttle on the new bike. She had also gotten me all new gear
to go with it. SWEEEEET!
This was coming from a gal who didn't want me to ride again after
getting banged up from the wreck back in december. She has since
been nominated for spouse of the year! hahah
This new bike outclasses the Katana on all counts, and I wouldn't
categorize this as a beginner bike for sure. I love it!

A mate of mine had a VFR800 (the bike you call the Interceptor in the US) a while back.
I found it a superb ride too.
OH!!!
And tuck your boot laces in... You know it's gonna happen. |

They call it the VFR here too, and now that you mention it, we had
made it just down street a short way before I pulled over to retie
and tuck in those aforementioned bootlaces.
I have to say that I have been VERY impressed with that bike.
Lots of fun, very precise and goes right where you ask it to. ____________________ The world is full of stupid people, lest target practice be a moot point.
