Easy enough to break down into its component parts, cheap enough for seals and fluids but if they are already pitted then you may need to have the rechromed, sanded and filled or cross fingers and hope they last for a while before they make the seals leak.

He said pitting was above travel area so was more concerned about the bits being seized.
