dunno if it was a tank slapper? then again ive never had one - sounds like what I had last week on tuesday, was pinning it along the A68 along a bumpy section of carriageway, front end kept going light and the steering was shaking about a lot - anyway'z I just gave it another geart and pinned it again.

It was probably just a bit of head shake, a full on tankslapper should have most people touching cloth and coming off. Mine being an older bike, I'm pretty used to a bit of headshake every now and then, I tend to just ignore it. It's especially common if, like me, you have a nasty habit of coming down from a wheelie with the front wheel turned very slightly.

Yeah sounds a little like a head shakey wakey wakey moment.

Tank slaps are from lock to lock and often end in good night.....

Both scary enough to make a little pebble of poo come out though...
