i was looking to save the www.joecartoons onto my harddsisk is there any way to save them as .exe files??

In a word, no you cannot save them as exe's. I'm sure there is software that will allow you to pull the whole site down but I don't think you can save swf's readily.

It would be a pain in the arse but it is quite possible, more time consuming rather than difficult...

There are plenty of applications to capture flash animations from websites, with a right-click save as system.

never used any to recommend though, but did google them a while back.
