Right, ive just bought an xbox 360, it looks stunning on my standard tv but ive been told that to unlock its true potentiul i should have a hd, lcd etc tv.

Now as with most technology items i havent got a clue.
What kind of tv do i need, hd, lcd,plasma???

Does anyone know where i can get one for a couple hundred quid?
I only need one like 15inchs and i dont really want / need a really fancy one, just one to unlock the full graphics of the xbox 360.

it woud work.. and it'd run at a higher resolution than a regular TV, for sure.. but it's only a 15" screen... if the TV you're replacing is only 15" then fine, but otherwise, any improvement in quality will be lost by the screen size meaning small things might just be too small to see.

May i point you In this direction

If you played on a 360 in it's demo booth in game.. that's the hdtv that they use in the booth.. and at the moment, the best quality for the money.

No that TV won't do because it's not HD. HD stands for High Definition, and this is the 'new generation' of TV's which have THE best graphics.

The TV LewisD mentioned is a Samsung HD LCD Flat Screen. These are awesome TV's and the XBox plays well on them. Go into your nearest 'GAME' or 'Gamestation' where they are likely to have an XBox 360 booth and ask them what the TV is.

Bottom line is - if you look for a different make of TV - it has to be High Definition or HD for short, for you to get the desired graphics.

can you display hi def from xbox onto a pc monitor ?

is it about equiv to 1280 1024 ?
