You know how everyone in the world is supposed to be connected with anyone else by less than 6 people?

Well, there's loads of people from all over the country use this forum. I was thinking we could post some details of people you've lost touch with, and see if anyone else on here knows them.

Over the years I've lost contact details for quite a few people who were good friends, and I'd love to know how they are doing now.

I'm not suggesting turning this place into friends reunited, just this thread. Is it a problem posting people names etc without their permission?

Good idea or not?

This is a funny subject - nearly every forum I manage to join I meet someone that knows my family or I went to school with Confused

I've lost contact with alot of people over the years, but then thats what being a forces child is all about!

John Stewart.

Was at Strathclyde uni with him in the early '90s.

From Nigeria, his dad was an ex-pat from Dundee.

Must be in his late 20s now.

Know he graduated with an engineering degree.

Tony Saunders, worked with him in Homebase in Penge. He left not long after me to work at Churchill, not heard from since...

Perhaps there's a message there.

Highly unlikely to be known by anyone but:

Hannah Pritchard, used to share a desk at Youth Orchestra with her. When we finished school she left to go to Birmingham Conservatoire (I'll probably see her playing at the next CBSO concert after posting this!)

friends reunited is pretty good for getting in touch with people from your past as long as you know which school they went to, or which area they came from or if they just have an unusual name

i found 30 of my mates i know on Bebo, most i went to school with or worked with and lost touch over the years. Bebo is hard if you are over 20 though as there are alot of young ones, but i am pretty pleased i found them all again.

One gilr i miss is my childhood mate and she moved to Austrailia when she was young and then last i heard she had moved back to Belfast. Seen her a few years ago and i never seen her again Sad Crying or Very sad

I know a Tom Pritchard.

I think I know a James. Trouble is I knew this Pritchard in the air cadets so never really knew his first name.

God, my memory's shite.

Hmm I think she did have an elder brother (he'd be about 30 now). I don't think he lived at home with them in Tamworth when I knew her though....

This is quite an interesting experiment. I don't actually believe the '6 degrees of separation' law because it's all very circumstantial - nice to try it out though!
