Bad hair day!!

Hi folks,
well I have just got back from the hairdressers. had my cut and colour and am not sure I like it. You no when u think it looks ok in the salon and u get home and think O.M.G!! Confused

well i have had one of those moments. what should have been a subtle shade of brown with a little bit of red is now traffic light red !!! Thumbs Down

I think i will be wearing my bike helmet around and about from now on!!!

C'mon, post a piccie so we can all see!

If it's any consolation, red hair tends to fade quite quickly (I should know, I'm spending a fortune at the hairdresser!), so if you're paranoid about it being too bright, a few days' worth of washing it will tame it a little.

I have to occasionally colour my GFs hair and once it came out bright red, I mean post box red. She thought it was a disaster and was booking emergency hair appointments but after one day it had toned down a lot and she kept it like that.

I've only had my hair coloured at the hairdressers twice and both times they have made a mess of it, the first time they highlighted it and the highlights leaked and I ended up with a huge blonde patch at the top of my head which they then tried to cover over with more hair dye...I wasn't impressed so the next time I went to another hairdresser to get my hair highlighted again and they tried to do it three times and still made a mess of it, I was there ALL afternoon. Rolling Eyes

So after that I refuse to trust any hairdresser with my hair unless it is for a cut and even then I only let one person cut my hair I do all my own dye jobs now and surprisingly enough no problems.

If you are not happy with the results remember you can go back and tell them that is not what you had asked for, don't be scared to complain Wink

I always had my hair bright red
And a week later it had toned down a LOT
It is the colour that stays in the hair the shortest amount of time

I am sure it looks cool !

The other half had Electric Blue streaks in her hair a few years back, they lasted about three days before they went to a dull blue.

I wouldn't worry to much as strong colours and hair don't really mix.
