Mines in german, can anyone point me to an owners manual that is for the 600 hornet the 02 model not the 03 face lift one.

You could try this site (hornets nest) to see if they have one for download.

Failing that the haynes manual would be a good bet. Lots more detailed info than the original owners manual anyway.

Lastly ebay? always manuals up for sale there, both owners and workshop.

98-02 model workshop manual found very easily with Google...
