Nice one! Shocking what some people believe to be 'satisfactory' condition of parts/tyres!!

Keith posted a picture of a sprocket that couldn't really be described as such quite a while back. He may post again if he sees this thread. It was like a circle with hints of notches, but the bike still went lol.

Meh.

Should've seen the front tyre off my old Russian 125 when it blew out. Sidewall parted company with the tread for about half the circumferance of the tyre and the tube was hanging out of the hole.

Lol, i'm ashamed to admit that my front sprocket was that bad. Any heavy throttle would cause the chain to slip on the sprocket.

That car disc is unbelievable. Shocked

Happy to oblige:-

I also have a rear sprocket in pretty awful condition from a bike I bought (alloy sprocket though, so like to be far more prone to rapid wear and sudden failure).

All the best

Keith

that because its clearly a set up.
you cant lose that much of a vented disk.without a lathe.
some of the tyres look a bit fake.
however having done the chain and sprockets on the nephews dt i can belive the sprocket pictures as the front cog i took off was more of a rough wheel than a toothed sprocket

Probably not fake, I've worked on cars for a long time now and nothing surprises me anymore. Brakes tend to be the biggest problem, usually worn down to the backing plate or even the pistons before the driver notices.

A bit shocking - but bear in mind these things do get worse very quickly once past normal limits - that's why you need to be checking them.
