A family member hasnt been right for years now. He is 29 and when he was 20 he took a nervous breakdown over a younger girl telling him he didnt want him.

He ended up in a mental home and became epilectic as a result and depressive. Not normal behavior for a statr IMO

9 years later he has his first girlfriend.

He also has £22000 worth of debt, is dependant on everyone and treats his GF like crap and she puts up with it.

Alot feel sorry for him because he can pull a guilt trip because of the epilepsy especiallythe GF.

Now what i see.

He live in the clouds, he is serious and takes things to far like how many shops he will buy and how much money he will make (obcessed with money) you cant get him off the hig horse as he cant even aford to eat.

He has selective hearing and hears stuff that people are suppose to have said and didnt.

He tells his GF he is going to kill himself by not taking his med and having a fit on a pier (he was on sucide watch once)

He blackmails another family member when asked for rent and actually takes a fit to make them feel bad.
He also drives which i think is not on. has the full licence and all, dvlni gave it back to him cause of no fits.

He hangs around with people less than half his age ie 13 some even younger have been seen in his car. he has been warned about this and has not stopped him over the years, he thinks they are his mates but they are not as he cant see they are using him and telling people nasty rumours about him.

He disrespects his mother and GF in the same way, when asked does he want dinner the answer is FO and the same to GF.

His mother says he is not right in the head.

His mates have smashed his car up and he contiues to hang about with them as he has no backbone.

He does not live in reality as plans buying speedboats not his dinner. He has never bought dinner in his life, makes his GF or work mates buy it.

If you say something he does not like 3 years down the line he will continue to bring it up again and again,. he does not like anyone getting anything and thinks he is not being treated right when he does get everything.

He goes to clubs and gets no sleep, clais he dont drink, or take drugs. Drives teens round the town instead till about 7am (he has been seen and trheats been made) he dosnt learn from his mistakes at all.

Never says thank yuo even when told. When you try and talk about his behavior he ignores you, and walks away.Also the rest family pussyfoot around him incase they offend him and he goes into a mental home. He is either extremly smart at geting whathe wants or out of it.

Half me says he is a spoilt brat but there is more to this. Is there a name anywhere because we cant make him go to a doc, if i could get a name or some information maybe to help it would be great.

Serious answers please.

Sounds like a complete c*nt to be honest. That would be my medical term for it too. Using his fits as a tool of leverage on others.

Why doesnt everyone just ignore him. If he pretends to fit, leave him there. It's what you do anyway. Or of course, call an ambulance and let them take him away. Then when the realise he's not genuine, they'll give him a right grilling.

You dont say how close the 'family member' is, if it was my brother, i'd give him a damn good kicking for being an obnoxious c*nt. if it was a cousin, I'd disown them. Nephew, then a kicking again.

If all he is doing is hurting people, the really try to leave him to it. Everyone should be firm with him and not let him get away with shit. Until EVERYONE does, he will not change. Hell, if I could throw a fit (literally) to get my way all the time, I'd be doing it! Easy street!

He hates his GF and will openly sayit infront of people and his mates have said this to her to try and make her see sence, then he treats her nice occasionaly when he wanst to. She is too weak to leav him as she is afraid he will kill himself.

He has been on a hitlist once for a nasty organisation and my dad found uot through his mate who told him, his name was removed only for my dad. We are angry because he made himself look like a drug dealer, this is how he got in debt, he spend it all on impressing people and showing his cards off and taking young ones around in his car.

This is not normal i dont believe.

How is he driving when he has seizures? I'm pretty sure it is against the law to drive unless you do not have seizures for X number of years. Report him to the police and have his car confisticated. That should teach him a lesson.

He lost the licence for two years and was given it back again. What we want to kow is he took a seizure in his car one day and he still has licence? does his doctor report him or us?

I wont get into the car with him because of this and my mum is in bits most nights thinking he is dead somewhere.

I dont liek the idea myself otherrs could die because of him. I am thining of reporting him but he will take a breakdown or somethig and if he does do soething stupid i will feel guilty. He hs tried to kill himself and nearly stabbed me in the process of me trying to stop him. Also we used to find knifes and stuff hidden in his room.

Just because someone's family it doesnt mean there is any reason why you should maintain contact or help them out.

Perhaps I'm a bit callous but I'd have nothing to do with someone like that, he will end up in a situation that people won't be able to bail him out of.

I am getting my parents house , they are moving out. He cant move cause he will get killed in this new estate due to being a hated figure about here. I cant afford any other house and the deal i got here was great. I do care about him as he is my brother, and i did care even more there duringthe week when chav scum dragged my name ito a fight with him and put pics of me up on the internet. That has been stopped now as i had someone have a word to diassociate me with him. He has been warned if he is living with me and BF he is to act his age! somehow i can see him run to my mum and dad as i cant see him paying his way in life.

So i dont think i need to move from here, he will.

In all seriousness it does sound like the bloke has more wrong with him other than just being a 'total wanker'.
It sounds like he has a the mental age of a 13 year old but the credit facilities of a 20 year old. I don't feel too sorry for the credit card companies. No doubt he'll be forced into bankrupcy.

A friend of mine has had a tough time recently when he had to take the hard steps to get his own father sectioned. His parents had been separated for years but this just came at a bad time just after his mother died.
It would be easy for him to ignore it living in another part of the country but he knew what he had to do.
It sounds like your family don't want to admit it but it's probably time to start putting together a dosier on why this lad should be under supervision.

I hope my name will not be dragged into it again. I used to ignore his existance as i didnt like how he went on and he kept his life separate from mine. I am embarssed to be assiociated with him. Now i have to listen to my parents come to me for solutions as they have let him go to far.
