Well with me being a plank and short of money, I decided to attempt to quieten down my so so noisy camchain with abit of bodgery.

That part went fine till I decided to put the bike back together, and I put the rocker cover on and do up the bolts to the required Honda specified torques! And ping the bolt snaps!

Luckily John and Jo came to the rescue, and sorted it for me this evening!

I gotta say a massive thanks to them, and I owe them lots!

And the moral of this story is throw those bloody torque wrenches away!

It came out fairly easily with a screwdriver, hammer, a little brute force and a lot of patience!

(Like I had anything to do with it, apart from holding the light lol)

Apparently, because the bolt had a long shoulder it snapped in a place where he was able to get a bit of a grip and make use of the thread to help get it out.
