Does anyone have any experience in teaching a foreigner English? A guy from Hungary that I know has come over to learn the language but no courses start till he leaves.
So out of everyone that knows this bloke, I'm the nearest thing to a teacher with an A Level in English Language.
Could someone give me a hand as to how I'm supposed to help him? I'm gonna need to make like little lesson plans, and it's mainly conversation and phonetics.
He only knows very basic English. Not enough to hold a conversation with over the phone. He's an architect and is good with computers so should I teach him the English equivalents of these kinds of subjects?
Should I try to learn a few Hungarian phrases?
I'm new to this, so if anyone has any ideas could they help me out please.
Thankyou. ____________________ The tiger who came for a pint |
