As you know, or may not….i am producing drum and bass with my friend (tracks have been posted here)

I got some inspiration from future release of the Transformers film.

This is a stuck together sample of a track I’m working on, the lead synth has changed somewhat and the basic structure for a tune is bodged, but the idea’s here, the intro is a bit dodey but I think the samples I’m using build a nice structure for the drop etc.

If you like Drum and Bass, or you don’t, have a listen and tell me if it sounds like it can go somewhere.

Note: it is very hard to make it sound techy, not cheesy Transformer style. Lol

Some good ideas you got going on that.

You're right about the intro, sort of goes nowhere really, then the tune makes sense once your drum patterns kick in.

Definately needs some work on the general structure, but it has possibilitys, I will need to listen to it at home on some decent speakers instead of the crappy pc ones at work.

Are you just cut and pasting samples, or are you programming the beats?

Also, what software you using?

Cheers bud, appreciate that.

Going to do more when I get back from holiday, that intro is a bit weird.
All beats etc are individual parts of several loops, I’ve constructed the beats in my own way, hence the continuation in the drop.

Killa Wink Thumbs Up
