My girlfriends car was broken into last night, she lost some of her favorite CD's.

If any of you have these and don't want them....

The Kooks
Led zeppelin – (possibly greatest hits)
Beatles – No 1’s
Primal scream –dirty hits
Arcade fire – funeral
Kings of leon – youth & young man hood
Nirvana – Nevermind

Thanks guys

Download em. Or get a mate to do it. You bought them, if you had made copies of them you'd have been legally ok to have kept them (I think).

Go on... Thumbs Up

P.S People stealing cd's, what low life scum. Is that all they took? Confused

Bit pikey of me but I've got into the habit of only using copy discs in the car. If they're left out then the temptation isn't too great for a thief. My main reason for doing it though is because I wreck loads of discs by not taking good care when changing them Embarassed

Limewire I've always found really good for downloads. Took me a while before I had the sense to download the pro version! Try doing a search for the artwork and CD labels too.

I'm even more of a pikey - my car doesn't even have a CD player, but it does have a direct input socket, so I can plug my generic MP3 player / old school Minidisc player in and remove it all in one go.

That being said, no one would bother breaking into my car anyway Sad

Killa - what a bummer for your girlfriend Sad

I thin P2P will be your new best friend to solve this one.

My OH has a CD player in her car, and we only use copied CDs in there for exactly this purpose. If it gets broken into, the insurance can sort out the car, and we can eventually just make an additional copy of each CD
