Want to try out a few things on bikes in photoshop.

Would like to know how to make somthing look like it is chrome/polished, and needs to look high quality.

Any one got any top tips?

Already looked at it, jus not sure it would look right with mutliple areas/layers on the bike.

Laughing In that case, use the stamp tool on chrome then blend using brushes and smudge tool etc.

Or you could create a new layer, fill with white, and use the "overlay" blending mode. then use an eraser to get rid of the white in the areas you dont want.

Here is a 30 second sample I did using andy C's Z750

What I can say from experience is Dodsi definately Knows his stuff when it comes to Photoshop

Still owe him a virtual pint after his help getting me started with photoshop.

Lynda.com tutorials are highly reccomended as well Thumbs Up (torrents)*cough*

If you do a search on google for "Chromasolarize"

It's a free plugin for photoshop (it'll come with a ton of other plugins too)

If you select the area you want chrome with the marquee tool, then do a white/black gradient. Then filter>Flaming pear>Chromasolarize.

It'll look quite chromey, go into the layer properties and play about with it until your'e happy with it.
