chest infection, ear infection, and tonsolitus all at once

Well basicaly ive got all the things in my name, is there any method to reduce the pain all the doctors give me were de congestants what do sod all, my right tonsel is totaly blocking that tube and begins to hurt when i drink or when the nice big green snots pop up

dont supose anyone knows of anything that can reduce the size of my tonsil or at least reduce the pain.

Have you tried those throat sprays you can buy ?
They are painkiller and antiseptic stuff all in one
I use them whenever I get a bad throat, and they numb it all
Any chemist will have them

Or try vodka

Go see your local pharmacist and ask them.

Something like paracertamol, Ibuprofen or asprin can help.

Try gargling soluable asprin or dispersable co-codamol (only from pharmacist).

How old are you? If you're below 16 you're not supposed to gargle with aspirin.

When I was 15 I did and it was the best thing for my throat ever.

Probably causes cancer like everything else

Penicillan is what you need or amoxycillan. I remeber i was plagued with the same thing then i started taking zinc and i have had the flu once in 2 years where as i was always ill with swollen glands etc. Zinc is only £1 and it biults your immune system , look into it.

I just got home from hospital today, i had my appendix removed, i've been given painkiller's called co-codamol, they work nice. You would need to visit your GP to get them though, so while your there he would give you what he reccomends anyway. Best thing about them is they cause drowseyness so you get a great night sleep. Or do some dodgy dealings and find somone to get you morphene.

now they wont remove them its too much of a nasty operation the older you are ?.

Try Tyrozets. Numb the sore bits. Realyl works well. Or Gargle with TCP - But it stinks. Would go near my other half for a good few hours.

my mam got me a bottle of something they use at the hospitals to kill infections in stiches in peoples mouth, every time i guargle with it my mouth fills with flem. lovely tastes like chicken.

Gargle with warm salt water.

Check the labels of the things you are taking and don't take too many medications that include paracetamol (and a LOT of them do).

Drink lots of fluids, preferably fresh. Home made lemonade is good, don't go wasting money on all those over the counter things when a bit of warm water and salt or lemon and sugar will do just as well.

Eat home made chicken soup which keeps up your strength, and is easy to swallow (it runs down yer throat like snot)

Recipe for home made chicken soup:

Get mother to buy ready-cooked chicken. As you can't swallow very well, they will have to eat the meat. Get mother to boil carcass of chicken in a big pot of water, with parsley and chopped carrots and onions. Pointless seasoning to taste, as you probably can't taste anything right about now.

When all the remains of the meat falls off, get mother to strain liquid into a bowl. Add pre-cooked 3-minute noodles if you can cope with them.

Home made chicken soup only really works if someone else makes it for you

When your tonsillitis resides a bit and allows you to swallow, you can add garlic croutons
