Eh? How's that gonna help stop kid's drinking?

Fecking stupid it is.

Why don't we just lower the drinking limit to 14?

Everybody I know says the same, drinking underage comes with risks so it is much more fun, but once you turn 18 it isn't half as fun going out to get drunk. Think people who say that are right.

i cant see how that would help either other than have younger kids doing it cos they're not old enough.

education is key IMO.
drinking was introduced to me by my mum when i was about 16. i was able to have a a couple of beers on a friday night that she bought me as long as i drank them in the house. i never drank outside even when mates were doing it.

its the same in a few european countries were kids are allowed alcohol with evening meals in restaruants etc and i feel it certainly worked for me.

Ha, love that reality check on the website, bunch of ass clowns.

Kids know they’ll die from it in the end, but they are young free and stupid, it’s only in today’s society it’s frowned upon because of all this over the top policing, so in turn its reported more.
Sorry but when wasn’t there a crackdown on under age drinking? I would have hoped it has been an on going thing for along long time.

I’ve always hated the drink drive limit, give the public an inch…....you know what I mean.
Why haven’t they said, any drink found in your system when on the road means your drinking and driving, good bye licence.
I see no problem with that, peoples ‘good intentions’ of drinking one pint and driving home has been sorted then.
The only reason I see that the government still let us feel that we can get away with a little alcohol in our systems is because of the revenue.

Have they ever thought about the mental side of things, as to why kids start drinking? Some of them start drinking because they have pervy dads, some start drinking because they are bullied at school, some don’t see themselves having a future under Tony Blairs rule, some will drink because they have no where to go because of funding for their areas.
No, because they don’t have to live like that and they get fucking bored.

Bull fucking shit.
Kids today have it better than ever before.
The reason they drink is because they're fuckheads, and the reason they try and fob it off with useless excuses like that is because they can't accept the consequences of their own damn actions.

raise the duty and people will just see using home stills as a viable alternative , hell you can even get the yeast free from super markets if you ask nicely. and huge 50kilo bags o sugar can be had for less than £10.

I know it's not a vast majority, most of them just like drinking down the park. I did it, not all the time but i did drink under age.
