Ooh - cheers!

Right then. I'm off to enjoy this over a pint or two. Apologies to anyone in West London whose evening will be disturbed by the distant sound of me jeering at the eejits on the telly.

Watched this and the guy at the end who came off the off roader was in a bad way, nasty stuff.

And I'm glad the cops are after the chavs who nick bikes like that.

If you were watching carefully, you'll have noticed that the guy who was seriously injured on his trials 'bike wasn't wearing proper 'bike kit.

If you're riding off-tarmac then your feet and legs are very vulnerable (it applies to on-tarmac riding too for that matter). Why do you think MX boots are so solid?

The guy in the programme was wearing what looked like combats and rigger boots - not the most robust kit for that sort of thing.

I was a bit worried it would be the usual anti-bike rubbish, but it even showed one of the Police officers riding legally on "green lanes".
