I picked up my new bike today from Isle Of Dogs, owner lived in one of those apartments overlooking the thames, even had an underground carpark which was cool. Anyway, i left there with the bike at 8pm & i got home at 12am.

I got bloody lost, riding up & down oxford street on reserve tank because there wasn't a garage in London apparantly. I somehow ended up in Woodford where i got flashed by a speed camera (First time) there is literally 1 camera after the over. The bike isn't in my name so i wonder if he will get the letter?

I was losing hope until i saw the sign for Blackwell tunnel, even when you're completely lost you always somehow find the way home it seems. Smile

I don't know how people can ride/drive to work, waited in the tunnel for ages, i think there was an accident because the traffic had to drive behind a safety van.

Anyway, i picked up a 2003 636 Ninja. I didn't actually think it would be that fast but the extra 36bhp is awsome, would poo all over my R6.

I'll get pics tomorrow. Smile

Store st, Park lane, Texaco Selfridges. All within 0.2 miles of Oxford st.

Depending on which entrance you used its an offence to drive on Oxford st. 14 day wait for the ticket if caught.

So you went from the isle of dogs, next to the blackwall tunnel and sign posted to oxford st about 5 miles away, then to Woodford about 6 miles from oxford st and then down the eastway back to the tunnel? Theres only 3 exits from the dogs, ones marked to the city and passes Tower bridge and the other two are marked to the blackwall.

South London monkeys should need passports to cross north of the river. Wink

Congrats!

I have a 2003 636 in Blue, infact there are a few of us on here with the B1h Model. Its probably the most hardcore of the 636's, the 03-04 bikes were (are) hard as nails.

Sickpup, i won't recieve the letter as the bike isn't in my name yet, so i'm guessing the previous owner will send me the letter if it comes? I found a garage in the end, next to the BT tower..

Yup the bike is green & pleased with it , just the speed camera has ruined it a bit now. Really don't want any points as my insurance is high as it as.

She has a datatool & datatag with 10k, FSH, 2 brand new Metzlers, 2003 reg & i bought her for £3,300

Titchfield St I think. So you have a longer wait to see if you get a ticket. Westminster is very up on their CCTV tickets as its a good fund raiser.

Yup, i really hope i don't get points tho. When you get flashed is it always points & a fine or.?

I pulled my first weelie today......By accident. I was pulling out onto a junction & when i got straight i opened the throttle in first to find the bike come straight up then back down, it happened to quick to panic or be scared so it looked like i meant it. Shifty

There was traffic in the other lane, must of thought i was showing off. Mr. Green

Depends on the Police force and the speed you were flashed at. Staffs Police give you the option to do a speed awareness course on your first offence in a 30 zone. If your caught in any other its the 3points and £60 fine unless your takin the piss with your speed. But not all the forces are the same.

The previouse owner doesn't have to send the NIP to you all he/she has to do is fill in the nime of the rider when it occured.

Damn man, that sure was the long cut.

Reminds me of this friend of my wife. He tried to drive from Dartford to Gatwick. I told him to go M25. He did, but the wrong way. Drove the entire way round london, then down to Gatwick. The funniest part was, the twat came back the way he came!

He didn't have the foggiest idea.
