Hi, often see questions about whether they transfer over and found out that direct line recognise bike ncb for cars.

Arrow Remember you cant use it for bike and car at the same time.

An idea Idea , Since bike insurance is cheaper you could use your bike ncb for this and then take out another policy, handy for those who are 17-20 because insurance dosent really get cheaper til your 21 and company's like to charge thousands.

Hope this helps anyone, just a thought as the question is often asked and it would be good if someone saved any amount of money through it. Thumbs Up

Thats how i'm insured on a chipped / cammed / engine modded / lowered car for <£300, yet i've only held my car license for 1 year.

You can't split them. You have to move them all or nothing.

Thus I've now got 5 years NCB on a van when I've only held my car licence for 2 1/2.
