i came off my bike pretty bad (doing about 65) about 6 montths ago now, no major damage, bent handle bar, clucth lever and footpeg. yet i did scratch my tank up pretty bad.

what would be the proper way to rapier the scrathces on my tank.

Take it to your local body shop would be the proper way.

It needs to be sprayed with professional grade paints in order for it to be resistant to any fuel spillages at filling up time. Rattle can paint will be ruined pretty quickly making all your effort a waste of time.

£50-70 would be my estimate for the spraying and general filling of minor scratches.
