I have come across some 'legal' drugs, poppers, salvia, fly agaric.

I was just wondering, as im in the process of joing the TA, if i were to have a drug test, would these set off any alarms?

Cheers, Nick

I'm fairly sure they would overlook it. Cannabis is supposed to be detectable in the blood for six months apparently. Depends if 'Fairly sure' by some bloke you don't know cuts it though I guess!! Smile

Yeah fairly sure isnt really good enough, trying to find responses on the interent are proving useful. Looks like im answering my own question lol.

But this information might prove useful to some else, so i'll post it.

From the jist of drugs test, they are search for specific things, such as THC, found in cannibis.

so far... salvia

Quote:
Salvia is not specifically tested for in any drug tests nor is it chemically similar enough to any substances which are tested for to trigger a positive on a test. More importantly, Salvia is not illegal to use or have in your system.

salvia and certain mushrooms are still legal and aren't tested for in a standard drug's test
they can't barr you for having a legal substance in your system
Absynth is a drug and is also legal in the Uk but they do test for cannabis, coke and E etc in the militery
