Im looking for some help.

I have a 98 suzuki gsxr 750 and lately i've been having problems with it.

My temp gauge keeps messing up on me, it will heat up normally etc then out of no wheres it will turn off and read - - -. Then it will come back on and jump back up to temp (25, 40, 67 etc all the way up to the right temp). This has been happening alot lately.

Im also getting a FI error c21 - intake air temperature sensor error.

What does this mean?
How do i go about fixing it?

I was told it could be one of two sensors...the boost sensor, and a map sensor located with the air box.
Does this sound right? and if so how would i go about testing them to find out which sensor is faulty?

Any help would be great!

I have the manual for both the 600 and 750 srads in pdf but i cant search on them for some reason so it makes it hard to find certain stuff.

I was just thinking, i've never cleaned or changed my air filter since i got the bike and i dont know when the other guy changed it.
Could that be making the sensor come on? But that wouldnt explain the gauge messing up would it?

It sounds like a bad conection or broken wire to me,try turning the
handle bars to the left and then the right slowly and if it works at one side
and not the other side then it is likely that the wire is broken in the
loom or the conection is bad.
