Less doggy style for you then
Injuries can be affected by the weather, not sure on the biology and mechanics of it but it does. My shoulder injury pre spill was affected by various things and aggrevated at random times. Its just on those things. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

I have dodgey knees too, but mine stem from when they used to dislocate frequently. They also get worse when the weather turns cold, and i get cramps and pins and needles, but i've not found anything effective to prevent it generally.
It's even worse when i'm riding though, because the cold wind hits your hands and knees first, but i managed to find these knee-warmer thingies! I used them all of last winter and they worked quite well!
They're called Cold Killers 'Hot Knees', and they're basically thermals

I get funny, weird pins and needles sensation in my knees too (but then mine are pretty fooked) Doctor says its from scar tissue contracting underneath the top layer of skin and nothing a good rub wouldn't help!
Those 'thermal' knee warmer things that leggy girl mentions are alright too, I've worn them to bed on really cold nights and I don't get as much pain with them on! (attractive eh??)
It may be something you're just going to have to put up with, warm baths help, mine for a while, but one of my secret remedies is a whiskey and two of those wheat grain things you stick in the microwave for 2 minutes. (one to drink, the other to place on the painful area)
I also get really snappy and antisocial when I'm in pain, so I apologise if this sounds like another "deal with it" thread! ____________________ Funny, I used to hate being spanked as a child!
