Apart from the obvious answer it being a Lifan, i have a really aggravating and dangerous problem that nothing seems to fix for long.

While driving it veers off and does not want to cornor it likes to go streight which has left me near in a bonnet of an oncoming car today. I can feel it in the handlebars going from side to side.

My dad has tightened the back tire a fwe times which seemes to work for a while but i am now thinking the front isnt good either.

Whats the prob, how do i sort it, how much roughly and what will i need.

Thank you,

you should probably check where the swing arm connects onto the frame of the bike (any sideways movement is bad), but it could be anything Sad

It sounds like the headrace bearings are worn or pitted. Its not a big job
but getting the parts might be tricky.

If its the swing arm then you should only need the bushes/bearings.
And if the bolt is comeing lose you need to put a locknut on it.

I suspected bearings and def swing arm, thats for confirming it.

Pissed off as i near had a mishap infront of chavs at a bus stop while trying to cornor and control the steering Rolling Eyes

dont fancy trying to get a swing arm as i cant even get a bulb to fit the dam headlight and the rest of the parts i got previously where hell to get.

Again dont buy a Lifan or cheap jap bike. Should this happen on a 3 year old bike?

that sounds like the head bearings are well gone.

can you lift the front of the bike off the ground somehow, and turn the handlebars. If ther's any clicking, or rough feeling movement, then the bearings are dead.
