Hi, i am getting my DT125RE on saturday and I am looking for a lock for it. I want something that is secure but not heavy. I have seen the disc locks, but which is best or are there any strong yet light chains about?

I am on the Isle of Man though so it doesn't have to be super-tough!

Cheers

Use a disc lock when you're going out, to town etc. Two is far better than one I guess, since having one on means just lifting that end off the floor whereas having one on both wheels means the bike needs to be literally lifted off the ground to be nicked.

Parking it overnight, you'll definatly want to chain it to something. Frankly any chain that you can't bite through is going to be at least twenty quid - and that is scraping the bargain bin.
